       When the on-load auto-regulating distribution transformer is of large capacity, the three-phase high-voltage winding is connected into a triangle connection (angle connection), and the low-voltage winding is in parallel structure; When the capacity is small, the three-phase high-voltage winding is connected to the star connection method (star connection). The star-angle conversion of the low-voltage winding series structure and the series-parallel conversion of the low-voltage winding are completed by the on-load capacity-regulating switch, and the switching of the on-load capacity-regulating switch is determined by the automatic controller according to the detected load size.

       When the transformer is converted from large capacity to small capacity, due to the 1.7 times increase in the number of coil turns, the magnetic flux density of the iron core is greatly reduced, the unit loss of silicon steel sheet is reduced, and the no-load loss and no-load current are also greatly reduced, thus greatly reducing the no-load reactive loss of the transformer (the no-load reactive loss of small capacity is less than one tenth of the loss of large capacity) and the active loss (the no-load loss of small capacity is less than one third of the loss of large capacity), The purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction has been achieved.
